Carute Roma will be playing an August 6th show that will be very special for two reasons:
The band will be playing at Donna Thormalen’s house, a beautiful private home on the Animas River, just south of Oxbow Park and Preserve in Durango. This is a public show at a private residence.
This will be the last show of the summer featuring all 8 members of Carute Roma. Lisa Sumi, our premier accordion player, will be traveling the world by truck, sailboat, plane and hiking boots for an indeterminate amount of time. Our lead singer Nicole Carey will be taking a sabbatical to gather new inspiration for her musical journey. The band will continue working on new songs and make some cameos here and there… stay tuned.
